Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Call: 1-2 weekends during the 6-week schedule
- Call Requirements:
- Weekday call from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM next day
- Weekend call from 7:00 AM Saturday to 7:00 AM Monday
- Number of Openings: 1
- Float Requirement: EP Lab
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Cath Lab Tech
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and KY License or RCIS
- KY License: Not required at submission but proof of application must be provided
- Skills:
- Must have McKesson and Cerner experience (online training available if needed)
- Preferred: Structural heart experience
- Personality Fit: Detail-oriented, strong troubleshooting skills, clear and concise communication, ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment

- Beds/Rooms: 6 procedure rooms
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 in procedure room (one case at a time)
- Equipment: GE X-ray systems
- EMR Systems: McKesson Cardiology and Cerner
- Unit Closed: Christmas and New Year's Day

- Scrub Color: Provided by hospital
- Return to Office (RTO) considered on a case-by-case basis
