Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) (Days)

Job Description

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room, including both Scrub and Circulate roles.
• Participate in pre-surgical preparation, surgery, and post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no more than 5 days allowed. RTO requests after submission or during interview will not be approved.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current OR RN experience.
• Scrub experience (current within 1 year).
• Circulate experience (current within 1 year).
• Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with application).
• Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Active ACLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
• Must hold a Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) to be eligible for this assignment.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system highly preferred.

Additional Information

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• Orientation is 8 hours and non-billable.
• Holiday and overtime pay multipliers apply.

This position requires strict adherence to licensing and documentation requirements and timely submission of scheduling requests.
