CCU Registered Nurse

Job Overview

• Location: Bellevue, Washington
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours
• Start dates: 8/17 or 8/31
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: No block schedules; 5 days or less of RTO

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
• CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Open-heart surgery recovery experience
• Experience recovering fresh post-operative surgery patients
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Balloon pump experience
• Impella experience

Compliance and Onboarding

• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security number
• Background check covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years
• Two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year
• Copy of employment application
• Washington state court search results
• Washington state WSP/WATCH search results
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 30 days of start
• TB screening or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Immunity or documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B
• Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination
• Tdap vaccination or declination
• Signed code of conduct, applicant disclosure statement, confidentiality policy, and internet usage agreement
• Required onboarding modules after orientation
• Annual fraud, waste, and abuse training

• Candidate must complete facility-specific health requirements and checklist items as part of onboarding
• Some declinations are accepted for hepatitis B and flu vaccination
