• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Shift times: 18:00–04:30 and 20:30–07:00 (rotating as needed)
• Every other weekend rotation
• No on-call or floating required

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
• Siemens CT scanner experience required, specifically with GoTop, Xceed, and Force models
• First-time travel assignments are acceptable

Clinical Skills

• Adult Acute Care
• PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
• Imaging of:

  • Abdomen, Pelvis, Chest, Head, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck (with and/or without contrast)
  • Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
  • Trauma head
  • Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic spine
  • Musculoskeletal trauma
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR)
• Region of interest measurement (ROI)
• Isolation precautions
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Venipuncture

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - CT certification)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Submission of Return to Office (RTO) documentation upfront
• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency contact form prior to start
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions (updated monthly)
• Education verification (highest level)
• Physical exam within 1 year confirming fitness for duty and communicable disease free
• Negative 7-panel drug test within 30 days of start (instant acceptable)
• Immunizations and/or titers required or declination forms for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • TB test (negative TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs within 1 year)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (positive titer or vaccination series)
  • Hepatitis B (3-dose series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination (required during flu season)
  • COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination (required during flu season)
• Fit mask test within 1 year (renewed annually) if applicable per unit guidelines
• Facility-specific safety and compliance forms prior to start

Additional Notes

• No floating or on-call duties
• Pass/fail competency exams may be required depending on unit assignment (not specified for this role)
• Professional references required: 2 clinical references from manager or above, validated within 2 years
• Employment application/resume with at least 1 year relevant experience and 7 years work history if applicable
• Skills checklist updated annually (not required for non-licensed workers)
