Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required hands-on proficiency with Siemens CT scanners, including GoTop, Xceed, and Force models.

Details

• Acute care hospital CT department setting
• Adult patient population
• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, vascular chest (PE, CTA, aorta), head, sinuses, soft tissue neck, cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and trauma head studies
• Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and region of interest (ROI) measurement performed routinely
• Preparation and administration of contrast media and venipuncture required
• Uses Siemens CT scanners (GoTop, Xceed, and Force) and PACS
• 4x10 hour night shifts, rotating between 6:00 PM–4:30 AM and 8:30 PM–7:00 AM as needed
• Rotating schedule with every other weekend required
• No on-call or float requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience; first-time travelers will be considered
• Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
• Hands-on experience with Siemens CT scanners, specifically GoTop, Xceed, and Force models, is required
• Adult acute care experience required
• Proficiency with PACS required
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and venipuncture required
• License required if applicable
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of consideration

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging studies including trauma, vascular, musculoskeletal, and contrast-enhanced exams across multiple body regions
• Any background or license issue identified during the compliance process will result in automatic cancellation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
