Case Manager

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Saint Louis, Missouri
12-week assignment
Day shift, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Work hours are either 7:00–15:30 or 8:00–16:30, depending on unit needs
Covers all units except psych and women and infants
Average daily census: 1000+ hospital beds
Short Term Acute Care, Magnet & Teaching Hospital, Level I Trauma Center
Total staffed beds: 1,266

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of case management experience
Case management experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Government-issued ID
Primary source verification of professional license
NURSYS verification
Background check
Education verification
Employment application
Two professional references
Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start
Unit-specific competency exam
Medication test/pharmacology competency exam, as applicable
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask
Negative TB or chest X-ray
Tdap vaccine or declination
Flu vaccination or exemption during flu season
BLS
ACLS, except for Case Manager roles
Regulatory compliance education
Hep B declination
SSN & DOB confirmation
Latex allergy questionnaire
Confidentiality form
Hand hygiene policy acknowledgment
Fingernail policy acknowledgment
Dress code policy acknowledgment
Orientation modules for RN roles, with Case Manager assigned the case management version

Additional Notes

Case managers complete assessments on all admitted patients, attend interdisciplinary rounds, and initiate referrals for home health, DME, skilled nursing facilities, LTACHS, and IRFS
Monthly parking passes are available; parking costs vary by lot
Orientation parking is in the Laclede Garage with a fee
Straight night shift parking is free
Day/night rotation requires a monthly parking pass
