Travel Registered Nurse (IMC) - Oklahoma City, OK

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Unit: Intermediate Care (IMC)
Unit Focus:
- Post-surgical care
- Cardiac drips (non-titratable)
- Insulin and Heparin drips
- Bedside procedures using Ketamine (burn care, chest tube, wound care)
- Frequent assessments and respiratory interventions every 2 hours
Charting System: Epic
Floating: Yes, floating within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities
Local Radius Rule: Must live more than 75 miles from the contracted facility
Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days allowed

Required Experience and Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
Minimum 2 years of Stepdown experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Med Surg, Telemetry, PCU (Progressive Care Unit), DOU (Direct Observation Unit), and Intermediate Care
Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
