Job Details
- Specialty: Laboratory
- Minimum Experience Required: 2 years (Note: First-time travelers are not accepted)
- Weekend Schedule: Every third weekend
- Call: None
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
- Holiday Work:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work two of them
- Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
- Locals Accepted: Yes, at the same rate
Required Qualifications
- Medical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Medical Technologist experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel assignment
Additional Notes
- Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit before final approval
- Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in assignment start being pushed back by two weeks
- Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
- Floating assignments may be required within the facility and scope of practice
- Orientation and onboarding requirements are tied to contract length
