Job Details

• Specialty: Laboratory
• Minimum Experience Required: 2 years (Note: First-time travelers are not accepted)
• Weekend Schedule: Every third weekend
• Call: None
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
• Holiday Work:

  • If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
  • If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
  • If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work two of them
• Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day
• Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)
• Locals Accepted: Yes, at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Medical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Medical Technologist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment

Additional Notes

• Clinical screening will be conducted to determine fit before final approval
• Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in assignment start being pushed back by two weeks
• Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
• Floating assignments may be required within the facility and scope of practice
• Orientation and onboarding requirements are tied to contract length
