Overview

• Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Hours per week: 40
• First-time travelers accepted
• No locals within 75 miles
• No weekends, holidays, or call
• RTO limit: no more than 1 week during the contract
• Scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Electrophysiology Lab (2 years of experience)
• Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Role Details

• Will work as an EP Lab RN
• Must be able to scrub and/or use the Micropace monitoring system for ablations
• Required RN skills include phlebotomy and IV placement

• Conduction studies
• AICD insertion/programming
• Pacemaker insertion
• Scrub procedures
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Sheath removal and monitoring
• Activated clotting time monitoring
• Circulate procedures
• Blood product administration
• Implanted port care and maintenance
• Use of vascular closure systems
• Use of topical hemostasis products
• Administration of antihypertensives, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, and thrombolytics
