ICU Travel/Contract RN

Contract Length

25 weeks

Schedule

• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts
• 3x12 schedule
• Float pool assignment
• Must be able to float to other facilities and departments
• May float to all ICUs, TCUs, ED, and PACU

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS
• American Heart Association ACLS
• Minimum 4 years of recent ICU experience
• ICU experience within the last year
• 1 year or less of total travel experience in the past 5 years
• ECMO experience within the last 6 months to 1 year
• Experience caring for ECMO patients as a bedside RN
• Experience caring for ECMO as primary responsibility without dedicated bedside perfusion support
• PACU experience
• Ability to independently manage complex critical care patients
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• CVICU, CTICU, or CCU experience

• Academic medical center experience
• Simultaneous management of multiple support devices

• Two supervisory references required
• Current resume with last 7 years of work history
• Unit-specific skills checklist required
• Background check required
• Drug screen required
• Physical exam required
• Fit mask testing required
• TB screening required
• Immunization documentation required
• Cyber security training required
• Advanced HIPAA training required
