Job Overview
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract

- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS
- NRP
- Experience working with Neonate or Pediatric patients
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic experience
Schedule Notes
- Holiday rotation
- Block scheduling may be considered with prior approval, but is not guaranteed
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume with PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
- Annual background check
- Education verification
- Physical exam
- Fit test within 90 days of start, then annually
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Drug screen within 90 days of start
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption during flu season
- Color blind testing
- Skills checklist, updated annually
- Work history verification for the last 3 clinical employers
- Radiation badge if required by unit
Additional Notes
- Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis
- Radius rule: 60 miles
- RTO must be submitted at time of application
- Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
- Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams
