Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado.
13-week assignment.
36-bed Medical PCU.

Schedule

3x12 rotating shifts: 0700-1900 and 1900-0700.
Days vary.
Weekend work required per unit needs.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado.
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience).
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association.
BLS issued by American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Preferred

First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met.

Unit Details

Fast-paced, high-acuity PCU with diverse patient populations.
Ratios are 1:3 or 1:4 on days and nights, and may flex based on staffing and unit needs.
Special procedures include scopes, biopsies, moderate sedation, cardioversion, and urgent dialysis.
Drips include insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, heparin, lasix, and dobutamine.
