Overview

• Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Patient ratio: 5:1
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• First-time traveler: No
• RTO restriction: No RTO from 2/08/27–3/31/27 due to Epic implementation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• 1 year of stepdown experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 clinical references are required
• Background check required, including a 7-year criminal check and the listed screenings
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
• HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start and for each renewal/extension
• Education verification
• Physical exam
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Drug screen within the last 12 months
• Flu vaccination or facility declination form
• COVID vaccination or facility declination form
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check
• Skills checklist
• Employment application/resume
• Pass/Fail testing required
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing
• State license verification
• NURSYS verification
