Overview

• Travel/contract RN Emergency Room role in Harvey, Illinois
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Unit uses Epic
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• First-timers accepted
• Locals accepted
• Block scheduling not accommodated
• RTO limit: 7 days max

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• CPI
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 references
• Current resume including the last 7 years of employment
• Employment gaps longer than 30 days must be explained
• Skills checklist for the traveler’s unit and any units they may float to
• Work history verification covering 7 years of employment
• Drivers license or state ID
• Background check
• Education verification
• Physical exam within 1 year and updated annually
• Fit mask within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 2 business days of signing contract
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 2 business days of signing contract
• Rubeola immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
• Mumps immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
• Rubella immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
• Hepatitis B immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
• Varicella immunity documentation within 2 business days of signing contract
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 30 days of start
• Photo for badge
• Orientation modules before clearance/start
• Illinois DPH HCWR fingerprint results if the role does not require an Illinois state license

• Teaching Hospital experience
• TNCC
