Behavioral Health Registered Nurse
Overview
- Location: Albany, New York
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 7:00–15:00
- Hours per week: 40
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Assignment length is expected to be at least one year, but it is not guaranteed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- 1 year of psychiatric experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Background Check and Screening
- Fingerprint-based criminal background check
- SEL, SCR, SAM, Medicare, and Medicaid checks
- Background check covering the last 7 years of locations lived, worked, or attended school
- Drug test within 1 year of start
Health Requirements
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza vaccination documentation or titers
- Hepatitis B documentation, titers, or declination
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months prior to start
- Annual TB questionnaire
