Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in New Orleans, Louisiana
  • Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:15 AM–6:45 PM
  • 13-week contract
  • The unit does not accept first-time travelers
  • Resource will be part of the back-up call team
  • May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event
  • Candidates must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Louisiana
  • 3 years of Operating Room experience
  • Operating Room experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience with complex general surgery
  • Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
  • Experience with GU/GYN surgery
  • Experience with colorectal surgery
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • None stated

Additional Notes

  • On-call is required as part of the back-up call team
  • Shift coverage is 0615–1845
