Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Richmond, Virginia
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Local candidates are allowed at the same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID must be carried while on assignment
- Background check required
- Drug screen required within 60 days of start
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccine or declination required
- TB screening required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella titers required
- Hepatitis B titer, vaccine series, or declination required
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption required
- Color blind testing required
- Abuse reporting competency required
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam required as applicable
- Competency exam required
- HIPAA acknowledgement required
- Annual skills checklist required
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Annual modules must be completed during orientation week
- Orientation includes pharmacology exam, point-of-care testing, and airborne precaution mask fitting
- Fingerprinting and CPS-related documentation may be required depending on assignment location/unit
