Step Down RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Beaufort, South Carolina
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Possible extension

Work Setting

• Adult medical-surgical oncology unit
• Role frequently floats to stepdown and med-surg/telemetry units
• Must be comfortable floating frequently
• Patient ratios:

  • Stepdown: 1:4–5
  • Med-surg: 1:5–6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Stepdown experience within the last year
• 2 years of stepdown experience
• Med Surg experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers accepted
• Cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• No license or background hits accepted
• Scrubs are not provided; required colors are royal blue/white
• Weekdays, every other weekend, holidays, and floating as needed

Experience Preference

• Prior travel experience is preferred
