Job Opportunity: RN Endoscopy
Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week, days
- Variable start times
- 4 shifts of 10 hours each (4x10hr shifts)
Specialty & Experience
- Specialty: RN Endoscopy
- Endoscopy experience preferred (no explicit minimum years stated)
Required Credentials & Certifications
- License: Valid nursing license with primary source verification (NURSYS and Board of Nursing required). MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- ACLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted)
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no onsite testing available).
- Immunizations & Health Requirements:
- MMR: Documentation of vaccination or immunity proof required
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions allowed
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
- Health Statement: Physician statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
- Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity proof strongly preferred
- Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
- Additional Health Documentation:
- Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
- Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray documentation (optional)
- TB Symptom Survey if positive PPD (optional)
Professional Requirements
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break
- National Sex Offender Check within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Social Security Number trace as part of background check
- Education verification of highest degree achieved
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience (with city & state)
- Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
- Skills checklist required for submission
- Candidate submission coversheet required for submission
- Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for extensions
