Radiologic Technologist - Boston, MA

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)


Job Description

  • Perform X-Ray imaging procedures during weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday).
  • Schedule: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts.
  • ARRT certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date.
  • Massachusetts conditional licenses are not accepted.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience.
  • Radiology Technologist experience within the last year is required.

Health & Safety Requirements

  • N95 Respirator Fit Test completed within 365 days prior to start date and updated annually (no exemptions allowed).
  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required.
  • Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) required.
  • TB screening: Negative TB skin test or blood test (QuantiFERON or T-spot) within 3 months of start date; updated if break in service exceeds 6 months.
  • If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray after positive test is required.
  • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.

Background & Compliance Checks

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date; updated if break exceeds 6 months.
  • Social Security Number trace covering last 7 years.
  • National Sex Offender Registry check within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
  • Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days prior to start date; updated annually.
  • Education verification of highest level achieved (except CNA positions).
  • Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset.
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state for all positions and education.
  • Candidate submission coversheet (current version).
  • Two references as noted above.
  • Skills checklist as noted above.

Additional Notes

  • Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
  • Updates to fit testing can be done at select locations if assignment is extended.
  • Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation.
  • Confirmation of assignment form required for all initial assignments and extensions.
  • Attestation forms related to respirator clearance and background checks must be uploaded as part of onboarding.
