Radiation Therapist Job Opportunity

Location: Clovis, California
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)

Job Description

• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Program required
• Must be a State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Opportunity to work with advanced radiation therapy technology including Accuray CyberKnife, Varian TrueBeam, Elekta Infinities, and High Dose Rate (HDR) suite
• Collaborative team environment delivering advanced patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
• ARRT Radiation Therapy (ARRT(T)) certification
• Completion of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proof of immunizations and health requirements including:

  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster or approved exemption
  • MMR (2 immunizations or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or positive antibody titer or declination
  • Influenza vaccine (required seasonally October - March)
  • TB test within 30 days of start (negative skin test, QuantiFERON Gold, or T-spot)
  • Varicella immunization or positive titer or declination
  • Tdap vaccination within past 10 years or declination
• Health statement signed within 1 year confirming ability to work without restrictions
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID (passport accepted)

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including criminal history, employment verification, and various federal/state exclusion lists must be current and updated as required
• Drug screening within 30 days of start (10-panel standard test)
• Skills checklist specific to clinical role to be completed within 1 year of start
• Various acknowledgments and agreements related to policies, confidentiality, and assignment details must be signed and submitted
