Registered Nurse - CCU/ICU

Location: Vineland, New Jersey
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process.
• Meet the needs of patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team via communication, coordination, and evaluation.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, nursing standards of practice, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred.
• Must have experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Valid New Jersey nursing license or compact license.
• Certifications required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (AHA only)

Work Schedule & Time Off

• Weekend shifts every other weekend.
• One holiday shift per contract if needed.
• Return to Office (RTO) no more than 3 days.

Orientation & Onboarding

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination.
• Orientation includes:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules to be completed by Monday before starting.
  • In-person classes typically held Tuesday through Thursday at various locations (location details provided via HealthStream).
  • POCT class attendance required outside orientation week.
  • Unit-based orientation schedule provided by the manager.

Additional Requirements & Compliance

• Must pass background check, drug screen, and various health screenings including COVID-19, Influenza, Hepatitis B, MMR, TdaP, Varicella, and TB.
• Employment and educational verifications required.
• Must comply with confidentiality, core mandatory annual training, and competency exams including Dysrhythmia Basic A.
• Required to clear multiple regulatory and sanction screenings (e.g., FACIS, NURSYS, OIG, SAM, OFAC).
