Job Opportunity: RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: Wilson, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Schedule: Four 10-hour days per week
• No weekend hours or call requirements
• Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients
• Equipment used: GE Innova X-ray, Merge Hemo
• Electronic Health Record system: Meditech (experience preferred)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RCIS required
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• Float requirements include Interventional Radiology
• Common diagnoses treated: Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), NSTEMI, Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
• Positive and flexible personality fit preferred
• Scrub color provided; no unacceptable attire specified

Notes

• Orientation is bi-weekly
• This is a travel assignment; candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel status
