Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel Assignment)

Location: Dickson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Number of Beds: 6
Patient Ratios: Mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
Staffing: 1 Nurse Tech available
Equipment: Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG, newest GE ICU monitors
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: 36 hours per week, every other weekend
Floating Policy: Floats to ICU overflow unit
Unit Expansion: Newly approved ICU expansion to double capacity
Recognition: One of the highest-ranking facilities for quality and staff engagement

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
ICU experience within the last year
ACLS certification
PALS certification
BLS certification

Additional Information

Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
Unit-specific policies and guidelines provided during onboarding with facility educator
Expanding service lines and acuity within the ICU unit
