Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room with broad surgical knowledge. The role involves working across multiple service lines including general surgery, gynecology, robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma cases.

Work Environment

• Unit: Operating Room
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Scheduling: Variable schedule with call required
• Floating: May float to other departments
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Skills and Experience

• Broad surgical knowledge across multiple specialties
• Experience with general, gynecology, robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma surgeries
• Ability to perform variable procedures in the OR setting
