Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Appleton, Wisconsin
• Clinical Resource Team (CRT) role
• Based across ThedaCare Appleton and ThedaCare Neenah
• 13-week contract
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts, starting at 5:30 PM
• Weekend rotation up to every other weekend
• Holiday rotation as needed
• No call requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Experience with pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care
• Experience with post-pacemaker care
• Experience with TR band management
• Oncology experience
• Stroke experience
• Ortho Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• AHA ACLS
• 1 prior travel contract
• Experience with pre-post cath, post pacemaker, and TR Bands
• Pediatric patient experience

Assignment Details

• Float to all Medical-Surgical units
• May float to all facilities as needed, primarily Appleton and Neenah
• May also float to smaller locations as needed
• Assignment is based on skillset and staffing needs
• Traveler will only take patients within their skillset
