MRI Technologist

Location

New York, New York

Contract

  • 9 weeks
  • 33 hours per week
  • 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Required Qualifications

  • Valid MRI Technologist license in New York
  • MRI Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)

Preferred Experience

  • 2 years of MRI experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI imaging procedures
  • Position patients and coils for optimal imaging
  • Review patient safety questionnaires before MRI scans
  • Ensure images are labeled, evaluated for quality, transmitted to PACS, and completed in the radiology information system
  • Maintain room and equipment cleanliness and report equipment issues or unsafe conditions
  • Provide patient education and assist physicians as needed
  • Follow safety and infection control protocols
