Work Schedule

• Days, Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM or up to 6:00 PM (flexibility needed)
• 40 hours per week

Job Summary

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating care for assigned patients.
• Diagnose and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems through case finding, health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative care.
• Supervise care provided by LPNs, RNs on permit, nursing attendants, technicians, and supplemental staff.
• Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care including physical, psychosocial, spiritual, patient teaching, and discharge planning needs.
• Observe, evaluate, document, and communicate patient responses to illness and treatments.
• Coordinate nursing interventions with the multidisciplinary team and ensure age-specific care needs are met.
• Participate in quality improvement activities, staff orientation, and professional development.
• Serve as a clinical resource and participate in research, committees, and educational programs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
