Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel/Contract

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

Caring for Med/Surg patients in a Stepdown unit (PCU).
Must have experience working at a Level One Trauma facility for at least 2 years.
Must have experience in PC/AC/Tele/Med Surg.
Every other weekend shift required.
Float requirement to other universal/progressive areas within the healthcare system.
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted.
No block scheduling; full weeks off requests between May and August will not be approved.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale Certification)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in telemetry nursing
Experience in medical-surgical nursing
