• Work sites include Cherokee Medical Center and may float to main campus if needed.

• Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Guaranteed hours based on signed contract

Job Description

• This is a resource pool position; nurse will be assigned primarily to Cherokee Medical Center but may float to other units or campuses within the system as needed.
• Scheduling is provided in advance.
• Must be available for on-call duties, including holiday coverage.
• Weekend work required as needed.
• No block scheduling accommodations.
• Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
• Pending license holders may be accepted but must obtain license before starting.
• Must pass arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day of orientation.
• Fit testing may require shaving; failure to pass fit test results in contract cancellation.
• Attendance policy: Missing more than two shifts without reasonable explanation during the 13-week contract may lead to contract review or cancellation.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience, with telemetry experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
