Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 10 weeks

Job Description

Schedule varies; day shift with 3 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), totaling 36 hours per week
Requires OR experience
Must be an experienced Radiology Tech with history in OR, ER, and Ports
Preferred experience with Level 1 trauma patients of all ages
Experience with complex cases such as Femur and Tibia Nails, Pelvis, and advanced Spine imaging involving spins
Call required with a one-hour response time
Weekend work required
Local travelers within 75 miles are not accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in Kentucky
Radiology Technician experience of at least 1 year, including experience within the last year
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
KBMIRT (Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) certification
Experience with complex radiology cases involving Femur and Tibia Nails
Experience with complex radiology cases involving the Pelvis
Experience with advanced Spine imaging cases
X-Ray Technician experience
