Physical Therapist - Outpatient (Travel/Contract)

Location: Cheyenne, Wyoming
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Setting: Outpatient Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Therapy Pool, Full Service Gym
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 days a week, 40 hours/week)
Patient Ratio: 1:1 (no double patients)
Patient Age Range: 7 to 90 years old
Weekend Requirement: None
First-time travelers accepted
Locals accepted at same rate

Required Qualifications

Wyoming Physical Therapist (PT) State License in Hand or ability to apply immediately (license processing takes approximately 6 weeks)
Minimum 1.5 years of PT experience required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
Physical exam within 1 year of start date
Negative TB test (PPD, Quantiferon Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year; if past positive, negative chest x-ray within 1 year required
Immunization or titer proof for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (or documented history/vaccination/declination as applicable)
9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start date
Annual flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
Background checks within 1 year including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender registry
Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
Two professional references within 3 years (for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles)
Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
Government-issued photo ID and emergency contact form required prior to start
