Unit Overview

Step-down unit
Typically 1:4/5 nurse-to-patient ratio
39-bed unit
Surgical/telemetry setting
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
May float to Main Campus, South Campus, and North Campus

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Ohio
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Experience with Epic

Scheduling Requirements

Availability to work every other weekend and holiday

Additional Notes

Current resume/application required
2 references from within the last 2 years are required, with at least 1 from a manager, supervisor, or charge RN
Skills checklist required within 1 year prior to documentation due date and updated annually
Background check, drug screen, health screening, and other onboarding documentation are required before start
