Key Assignment Details

• Emergency Department role
• Level II Trauma Center
• STEMI-certified facility
• Stroke-certified facility
• Every other weekend required, or more depending on unit needs
• Possible floating required
• Must be fully committed; cancellations may result in DNR status
• No travel pairs
• RTO must be submitted up front

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)

• Experience in a general Emergency Department, adult and pediatric combined
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Ability to obtain 12-lead EKGs
• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management

• Starting IVs
• Continuous IV paralytics
• Continuous IV sedation
