Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN – Outpatient Clinic

Location

Pomona, California
Must live within 50-55 miles of 1770 N. Orange Grove Ave, Pomona

Employment Type

Travel / Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Day shift, 5 days per week
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a family practice outpatient clinic setting
Experience with pediatric patients is strongly recommended
Proficient in medication dispensing and care within the LVN scope of practice
Bilingual in Spanish and English required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in California
Minimum of 2 years of LPN / LVN experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in outpatient and clinic settings
Experience in urgent care settings
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
IV certification

Cath lab is super traveler friendly, easygoing docs, nice coworkers, super easy to get to the facility from surrounding areas, great about scheduling what you needed off, LOTS of outdoor activities to do within an hour of here! Safe gated parking area (called the Cage), hospital is clean and welcoming, staff usually pretty great in all areas I went.

Cons

DO NOT STAY IN POMONA, stay in surrounding areas (San Dimas, La Verne, Covina, Glendora, Diamond Bar, Chino Hills, Claremont are all good).
