Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Abilene, Texas
• 13-week contract
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30
• 10-hour shifts with a rotating day off
• 7–10 days of call per month, with about 1 weekend of call per month
• Start date within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Texas
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Travel required
• PALS
• NRP, as applicable
• CHEMO, as applicable
• TNCC, as applicable
• EFM, as applicable
• ENPC, as applicable
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify or attestation
• Background check
• 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• Education verification at highest level
• Texas DADS Employability Status Check within 30 days of start
• Texas Employee Misconduct Registry check within 30 days of start
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgement
• Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
• NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Certification, if applicable to position
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, as applicable by profession
• Competency Exam, as applicable by profession
• Color Blind Testing Online
• Physical exam within 1 year of start

Additional Notes

• Parking is available for orientation and after orientation at no fee
• Modules are required during orientation and take roughly 3–4 hours
• Fit mask can be completed onsite for $15 cash
• Drug screen must be negative for THC and is not allowed to pend
• Facility conducts its own drug screen on arrival, including marijuana
• Seasonal flu vaccine is required during 10/1/2025 through 3/31/26, with agency religious or medical exemption accepted if needed
