IMC RN Travel Contract

Overview

• Registered Nurse role in Glen Burnie, Maryland
• Travel/contract assignment
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• High-acuity intermediate care unit with overflow to lower-acuity med-surg/telemetry

Schedule

• 8-week contract
• 3x12 day shifts, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed
• No pre-scheduled on-call

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted with strong IMC/ICU-level experience due to unit acuity
• Attestation required by the client
• Government-issued photo ID required
• Two supervisory references required
• Employment application/resume must be completed within 30 days of start
• Previous 5 years of employment history verification required
• Background check, education verification, and state exclusion screening are required
• Pre-start health screening and immunization documentation are required
• Drug screening is required
• Facility-specific onboarding documents and training modules must be completed before start
