Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Stepdown experience
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- DOU - Direct Observation Unit experience
- Intermediate Care experience
Unit / Clinical Details
- Busy stroke/neuro/trauma step-down unit
- Patient diagnoses include stroke, neurosurgery, trauma, general med/surg, and IMC/Step down level of care
- Special procedures include lumbar drains and stroke education
- Usual patient assignment is 1:4, and may be higher at times depending on resources
Additional Notes
- Navy blue scrubs
- Travelers must shave for mask fit testing
- CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and may not be used by travelers at the facility
