PT Outpatient

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Valdez, Alaska.

• Shift: Day, 5x8 or 4x10

• Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart&Stroke
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient Rehab setting
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing setting
• Pending license accepted
• Does not accept first-time clinicians
• Does not allow floating within scope to meet facility needs
• Does not accept local candidates; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility

Unit / Department

• Department serves hospital inpatient and swing bed, LTC, and outpatient

Housing

• Housing is provided during the assignment
• Typically 1-bedroom apartments
• Move-in is available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract begins and no later than 24 hours after it ends
• Pets are not allowed
• Additional family members are uncommon and require approval
• Housing must be cleaned at departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
