Labor & Delivery RN

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Silverton, Oregon
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Start dates: 10/28 or 11/11
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Antepartum experience
• Post Partum experience
• Experience with Epic
• Must be able to work at least every other weekend
• Some holidays required
• Must complete any assigned education within one week of assignment
• Must float within the site and across the system
• Cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
• Criminal background check required
• 2 professional references

Unit / Clinical Focus

• Labor, post-partum, antepartum, cesarean section, post-op, and newborn care

Schedule / Assignment Details

• No on-call
• Finalized RTO must be included with submission
• No RTO within the first week of the start date
• No more than 7 days of RTO per assignment
• Contracted hours are guaranteed
• Low census cancellation may occur with 1.5 hours’ notice before shift start

• Pending Oregon license accepted with proof of Oregon license application and fingerprints
• Acute care hospital
• Adult Level IV trauma designation
• 38 staffed beds
