Role Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
26 weeks
Short term acute care hospital
426 staffed beds
Level II Trauma Ctr

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience with Draeger ventilators
Experience with neonatal oscillating ventilators
Experience with high frequency jet ventilators
Level II Trauma experience

Preferred Qualifications

NICU experience preferred

Schedule / Float

Every other weekend and holidays as needed
Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed
Expected to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and Pediatric units

Additional Notes

Travelers may be asked to orientate students / new hires if needed
