Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year

Job Summary

• Provides respiratory care for patients with emergency, intensive care, therapeutic, diagnostic, and monitoring needs related to pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Interviews, examines, and assesses patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Consults with physicians to develop treatment plans and creates therapy programs based on physician instructions and assessment findings.
• Performs diagnostic testing such as measuring lung capacity.
• Treats patients using methods including chest physiotherapy, aerosol medications, CPAP, and BIPAP.
• Monitors and maintains equipment and participates in quality assurance and improvement activities.
