Position Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a temporary assignment. The role involves working in a hospital setting that provides maternity services including family birthplaces with private rooms, infant warmers, and specialized operating rooms for Cesarean births. Nurses collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, and lactation consultants to provide individualized care.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of current Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
• Experience with PP/MB (Postpartum/Mother-Baby) care required
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Massachusetts RN license required
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (AHA)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • STABLE (post-resuscitation care of sick newborns)

Other Requirements

• Permanent address must be included with profile
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission; no more than 3 days of RTO allowed
• Scheduling requests must be made at time of submission; no changes after offer
• Must provide:

  • Work history
  • Skills checklist relevant to the position (updated within 1 year)
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years
  • Licenses and certifications uploaded with profile
