Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Ithaca, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Job Summary

• Perform routine radiography imaging.
• Assist with Fluoroscopy procedures including barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, hysterosalpingograms, trauma cases, and various Operating Room procedures.
• Support Interventional Radiology (IR) cases such as nephrostomy tubes, drainage catheter placement, power port removals, tunneled catheters, pelvic venograms, and other procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of radiation safety and sterile technique.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Work effectively as part of a team and be self-motivated.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in New York
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Ability to assist in a variety of imaging and interventional procedures.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a team environment.
• Assignment length is approximately 13 weeks.
