Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit.
• Rotate shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, including every other weekend (EOW).
• Total hours: 36 hours per week.
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips.
• Provide post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach.
• RN to patient ratio:

  • Days: 1:5
  • Nights: 1:6

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience, including experience within the last year.
• Telemetry experience with the ability to interpret telemetry strips.
• Experience performing cardiac drips.
• Experience with post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, Ablation, TR Band, and femoral approach.
