Registered Nurse - OR

Location: Manchester, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 40 hours per week (5 days x 8 hours)
Call requirements:
- One 24-hour weekend shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) every 4 weeks
- One weekday call shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) every other week

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Registered Nurse
BLS (AHA) certification
Experience with surgeries in the following areas:
- Urology
- Gynecology (GYN)
- Breast/Plastics
- Orthopedics (Total joints with Mako)
- General surgery (open and robotic; includes use of Da Vinci Robot)
- Vascular (some cases done in Interventional Radiology with support)
- Colorectal
- Podiatry
Completion of a skills checklist required with submission packet

Additional Information

Candidates must be fully qualified before submission
Skills checklist must be included in the submission packet

This position is ideal for experienced OR nurses comfortable with a variety of surgical specialties and call responsibilities.
