Registered Nurse - ER I

Location: Manchester, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other week (EOW), rotating holidays
The Emergency Room is transitioning from Meditech to EPIC on 6/27/2026; candidates must be able to adapt to this change
Block schedules cannot be guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
One completed travel nursing assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Certifications:
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Information

Candidates must be able to handle a dynamic ER environment and system transition
Night shift with a consistent 36-hour workweek over three 12-hour shifts
