Job Opportunity: RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Description
Provide nursing care under general supervision to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex in an oncology infusion clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy drugs, PO and SC injections, and other medications as ordered by physicians.
- Consult with medical personnel and provide expert information about chemotherapy and side effects.
- Assume responsibility for clinic-specific assignments.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments; note changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data; intervene as necessary.
- Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver competent patient care.
- Communicate care plans to patients and families during clinic visits, discharge, and follow-up via phone triage.
- Provide chemotherapy-related education to patients and families.
- Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- Schedule and assist with patient follow-up activities related to treatment and coordinate care.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (89 days ≈ 13 weeks).
