Employee Health Support RN

Overview

• Location: Fairfield, California
• Schedule: Average 24 hours per week
• Shift: Clinic open Monday–Friday; hours are typically 0800–1700 and may start as early as 0400
• Start timing: ASAP

Role Summary

• Supports employee health clinics, including flu services and respiratory fit testing
• Assists with employee health tasks such as new hire medical clearance review, work injuries, exposures, return-to-work, fitness for duty, organizational requirements, and wellness initiatives
• Participates in performance improvement activities, committees, projects, and other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Occupational Health (3 years of experience)
• Occupational Health experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Three years of professional-level clinical nursing experience
• Knowledge of Worker's Compensation regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Occupational health nursing certification
• One year of employee and occupational health nursing experience
• One year of case management experience
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations and claims experience

Key Skills

• Clinical skills and injections
• Ability to run specific clinics and document results in a computer system
