Registered Sleep Technologist

Location

Detroit, Michigan

Schedule

4 days per week
10-hour shifts
7:30 PM to 6:30 AM

Contract Length

15 weeks

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
BLS
1 year of Polysomnographer experience within the last year
Ability to score Sleep Reliability using HFHS Sleep Center Guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with children
Bachelor’s degree with some scientific coursework

Key Responsibilities

Perform complex sleep procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
Troubleshoot challenging data acquisition during sleep studies
Score and tabulate sleep recordings, including sleep stages, respiratory events, and limb movements
Generate reports and performance summaries for physician interpretation
Maintain compliance with BRPT standards of conduct

Additional Notes

Patients start at 5 years of age
On-the-job training is provided for the charting system
May work at other sleep lab locations as needed
